We offer many parents to be advice with home visits, we are often asked the same questions, so in a nut shell we'll attempt to answer them here.
How many nappies do I need?18 For each size if the nappy you are buying comes in more than one size. What real nappy is the best value?
How do I use a nappi nippaThis is a T shape, so hook the left then the right, then catch the bottom of the nappy to secure it in place. It does take a bit of practice... but you'll soon be changing at 2am in the pitch black! How do I fold terry squaresWe are working on a detailed visual aid for you, but please feel free to email us if you want us to send you a printable copy. How much is using reuseable nappies going to cost?Anything from £50 to £500 - on average however you will be looking in the region of £250 to £300.Generally speaking £400 upward if you opt for a sized system and the same again if you opt for pockets, or stuffables. Remember, value and quality doesn't mean the most advertised. What are the drawbacks of using cloth nappies? There are some, yes: remembering to put the washing machine on when the bucket is full, remembering to put them out on the line, or in the dryer to get them dry. Initial outlay is also a problem too. Discovering that what you think is a drawback .. isn't.. people are commonly misled into thinking cloth nappies require extensive amount of care. What your mother used to do for your nappies is old school, out of date, and simply too much hassle! (sorry mom) |
